Our take: “Keep in mind that other elections do matter…When we talk about be the Voice [of small business], it’s looking at all levels of government. Election day is quickly approaching, and this is a crucial election for small businesses across the country. Being a small business voter is important to ensure that pro-small business candidates are elected at the state and federal levels, and this year, every race on the ballot matters. Be the Voice of Small Business in this election and make your plan to vote on or before Nov. 5.

NFIB’s Elections Center provides voter tools, resources, and ways for small business owners to identify, engage with, and vote for pro-small business candidates. NFIB’s political team is constantly monitoring and engaging with campaigns nationwide to help elect those who will be the best advocates for our members. NFIB has endorsed a number of pro-small business candidates, based exclusively on a candidate’s positions or record on small business issues, regardless of party affiliation.

In the days and weeks leading up to Nov. 5, NFIB is sending teams of employees to key states across the country with the goal of encouraging NFIB members to vote for NFIB PAC-endorsed candidates. During Road Team, NFIB goes door-to-door to meet with members and give them their member-exclusive Voter Guide. This interaction gives small business owners a chance to discuss what the upcoming election means for their business and get any questions answered before Election Day by NFIB staff.
