A well-written handbook sets forth your expectations for your employees, including a recently-revised social media policy, employment-at-will statement, anti-harassment policy, company dress code and attendance policy, and describes what benefits they can expect from your company.
The NFIB Guide to the Employee Handbook may be downloaded and modified for use in your business. Please note that this model handbook is a sample and intended as such. All new employee handbooks should be reviewed by an attorney in your state to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and should be modified to suit your business’s culture, industry, and practices.
