Small Business Community Endorses 110 Arkansas Legislative Candidates Ahead of General Election

Date: September 09, 2024

NFIB Arkansas PAC endorses 110 pro-small business candidates running for the Arkansas General Assembly

LITTLE ROCK (Sept. 9, 2024) – The NFIB Arkansas PAC today endorsed 110 candidates running for seats in the Arkansas General Assembly, including 29 candidates running the Senate and 81 candidates running for seats in the House of Representatives.

“Locally-owned businesses are the foundation of our state’s economy, creating good-paying jobs and thriving communities,” NFIB State Director Katie Burns said. “A recent NFIB survey found that rising costs continue to take a serious toll on our small business owners. Main Street Arkansans need strong advocates in Little Rock. These candidates understand the challenges our small business owners face. But just as importantly, they are committed to pursuing policy solutions that make it easier to do business in our state.

“On behalf of our small business owner members, I’m proud to announce these endorsements for the 2024 general election and ask all Arkansans to support these pro-small business candidates.”

Early voting begins on Monday, October 21. General Election Day is Tuesday, November 5. For more information on voter registration and other FAQs, visit the Secretary of State’s website.

The NFIB Arkansas PAC’s endorsement is important to these campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in large numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls.

NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on key small-business issues.
