NFIB California Launches Podcast Series

NFIB California Launches Podcast Series

September 23, 2020

For the first edition, banker, small-business leader discuss the Paycheck Protection Program

Thanks to the generous support of the California Tax and Budget Research Project, NFIB has launched a podcast series just in time for the upcoming election.

At the moment, however, businesses across the country are waiting to see if Congress will come up with another round of Paycheck Protection Program loan money. James Beckwith, president and CEO of Five Star Bank, joins NFIB California State Director John Kabateck, for the inaugural podcast to discuss the many fits and starts of the first round of PPP loans, the smoothing out, the lessons learned, and whether it will work much better the next time—if there is a next time.
