The NFIB Illinois Political Action Committee has endorsed candidates in 70 legislative races.
The PAC has endorsed 16 candidates for seats in the state Senate and 54 candidates running for seats in the House of Representatives. The NFIB Illinois PAC is comprised exclusively of NFIB members.
“Our members support candidates who support small business,” said Mark Grant, NFIB state director for Illinois. “These candidates clearly understand the vital role small businesses play in the state’s economy and are committed to creating an environment where they can expand and create jobs.”
The NFIB Illinois PAC’s endorsement is critical to the candidates’ campaigns. Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for urging friends, family members and acquaintances to go to the polls. The NFIB Illinois PAC’s support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small-business issues.
