Our members support candidates who support small businesses
RICHMOND, Va. (Oct. 1, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Derrick Anderson for election to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent Virginia’s 7th Congressional District.
“Derrick Anderson understands the challenges small business owners and their employees face,” said Julia Hammond, NFIB Virginia State Director. “He saw these challenges firsthand from an early age while working in his family’s business. Anderson sees how his district’s Main Streets have been impacted by rising inflation and onerous red tape, and will work to improve business conditions so that Virginia’s small businesses can contribute to their communities and prosper.”
“Derrick Anderson will be a strong advocate for Main Street,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “Having grown up with a family of small business owners, Anderson intimately understands the challenges the small business community faces. Derrick Anderson will be a key ally to small businesses, and we are pleased to endorse him today.”
The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
