Small Business Applauds Tax Package Passage in House
April 9, 2015 – Statement by National Federation of Independent Business/Florida’s Executive Director Bill Herrle on the passage of HB7141 by the Florida House of Representatives today:
“The tax package passed by the House today is a victory for small business owners. Many of the tax cuts in the “#NoTaxIsSafe” tax cut package will specifically benefit small business, including the reduction in the sales tax on commercial leases, the reduction in the communications services tax, and the small business Saturday sales tax holiday.
“Small business owners grow our communities and create jobs for our neighbors, and this tax cut package helps them keep their doors open and make payroll, which will go a long way in keeping our state’s economy on the right track.”
