Small Business Community Endorses 120 Kansas Legislative Candidates Ahead of General Election

Date: September 16, 2024

NFIB Kansas PAC endorses 120 pro-small business candidates running for the Kansas Legislature.

TOPEKA (Sept. 16, 2024) – The NFIB Kansas PAC today endorsed 120 candidates running for seats in the Kansas Legislature, including 32 Senate candidates and 88 House candidates.

“Locally-owned businesses are the foundation of our state’s economy, creating good-paying jobs and thriving communities,” NFIB State Director Dan Murray said. “A recent NFIB survey found that rising costs continue to take a serious toll on our small business owners. Main Street Kansans need strong advocates in Topeka. These candidates are committed to pursuing policy solutions that make it easier to do business in our state.

“On behalf of our small business owner members, I’m proud to announce these endorsements for the 2024 general election and ask all Kansans to support these pro-small business candidates.”

Early voting begins on Wednesday, October 16. General Election Day is Tuesday, November 5. For more information on voter registration and other FAQs, visit the Secretary of State’s website.

The NFIB Kansas PAC’s endorsement is important to these campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in large numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls.

NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on key small-business issues.
