NFIB Kansas’ 2024 Voting Record includes 11 key votes on issues ranging from workers’ compensation reform to income tax cuts.

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, released its biennial voting record for Kansas’ 2023-2024 legislative session. The record includes 11 key votes on issues ranging from workers’ compensation reform to income tax cuts.

Eighty-six lawmakers earned 100%, including 20 members of the Senate and 66 members of the House Representatives.

“Our State Legislature considers thousands of issues with numerous influences,” NFIB State Director Dan Murray said. “It’s critically important that lawmakers take the time to understand the issues Main Street faces. As inflation continues to pose a serious challenge to small business owners and consumers alike, our members are grateful to the lawmakers who worked to cut taxes, reform our workers’ compensation system, and promote greater opportunity for hard-working Kansans.”

The NFIB Voting Record does not reflect every element considered by a legislator when voting or represent a complete profile of the lawmaker. NFIB’s 2024 Voting Record included 11 key votes on issues important to small business owners.
