“This election is too important for the business community to stay on the sidelines.”
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LANSING, MI (Sept. 20, 2022) – NFIB Michigan PAC, the state’s most influential and effective small business political action committee, today announced its endorsement of businesswoman Tudor Dixon for governor. The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Michigan PAC, whose members are Michigan small business owners, overwhelmingly supported backing Dixon based on her platform and responsiveness and will work hard to make the Voice of Small Business heard in this election.
“I am excited to extend the NFIB MI PAC’s endorsement to Tudor Dixon, a strong, pro-small-business candidate who understands what is needed to support and strengthen Main Street businesses and job creators,” said Amanda Fisher, NFIB Michigan State Director. “Tudor Dixon is willing to fight against the destructive effects that overregulation and high taxes have on small business startups and survival.”
“Main street businesses are still recovering from the COVID-19 Pandemic and the glaring inequities in the way small businesses were treated by the Whitmer administration,” continued Fisher, who was joined today by the members of the NFIB MI Leadership Council in conferring the endorsement. “Now, business owners all across the state are experiencing tax, inflationary, and hiring challenges as never before, and it’s vital for Michigan’s communities and job creation that Tudor Dixon, a small business champion, is elected governor.”
Previously, NFIB MI PAC announced a slate of endorsements for the Michigan Senate and House in the November 8th election. NFIB will actively support Tudor Dixon and the legislative candidates who best represent our members and will fight for the continued growth and vitality of Michigan small businesses.
NFIB MI PAC’s endorsement is important in this campaign. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its thousands of business members in Michigan to help turn out the small-business vote for NFIB Michigan PAC-endorsed candidates in early voting and on Election Day.
