NFIB Missouri Hosts Small Business Day in Jeff City

Thank you to all our members who joined us for a successful Small Business Day here in Jeff City earlier this month! We had six members participate in Buy Missouri Day, which seeks to promote products that are grown, manufactured, processed, and/or made here in the Show-Me-State.

While in Jeff City, NFIB members received a tax briefing and a legislative update, before participating in a Q&A with two NFIB member lawmakers, including Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe and Rep. Chris Brown, Chairman of the House Small Business Committee.

Following the event, NFIB State Director Brad Jones said:

“There is nothing better than seeing the third-floor rotunda of the capitol filled with small business owners. Main Street Missouri is the backbone of our local economy. Lawmakers need to hear directly from our job creators, so they can craft policy that makes it easier for our small businesses to raise wages, create new jobs, and invest in their community. We thank Lt. Governor Kehoe and Rep. Brown for their efforts to keep Missouri a great state to own and operate a small business.”

Thank you, again, to all our members for joining us! We’d love to see you for Small Business Day 2025!

Check it out!
