Primary Election Day in Alaska is August 20.

“A Nonpartisan Pick One Primary is used to determine the top four vote getters that will advance to the General Election, regardless of political affiliation,” according to the Alaska Division of Elections. “In accordance with Alaska’s laws, a primary election candidate does not have to be a member of a political party or a political group to run for office.”

The following links provide brief information that NFIB Alaska, the state’s largest and leading small business association, recommends every candidate acquaint himself or herself with.
