Small Business Endorses Hutson and Renner
NFIB/Florida today announced endorsements in two important special elections: Travis Hutson in Senate District 6 and Paul Renner in House District 24.
Travis Hutson, a strong supporter of small business issues during his tenure in the Florida House, has consistently worked to improve the economy and grow jobs.
“Small business owners in Senate District 6 need a strong ally, and Travis Hutson has proven that he’s their guy,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB/Florida Executive Director. “He holds a 100 percent voting record on small business issues during his time in the Florida House, and we look forward to continuing to work with him.”
In House District 24, Paul Renner earned the support of small business for his dedication to reducing the regulations facing entrepreneurs and getting government out of their way.
“Paul Renner has demonstrated a genuine understanding of the issues facing small business owners in Florida, and he’s the best candidate to represent our members in House District 24,” Herrle said.
The endorsements come from the NFIB/Florida SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, the political action committee for NFIB/Florida’s membership, and is based on candidates’ positions regarding key small-business issues including healthcare, taxes, and labor and regulatory issues.
