Kentucky’s Small Business Community Endorses Congressman Barr for Re-election

Date: October 26, 2020

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Oct. 26, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Congressman Andy Barr for re-election to continue to represent Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives.

“Congressman Andy Barr has been a champion for Kentucky’s small businesses during his time in Congress,” said Tom Underwood, NFIB’s Kentucky State Director. “Congressman Barr always makes time to hear from our members. He understands the challenges our members are facing and has been instrumental in supporting efforts to protect small business owners’ privacy and eliminate costly and burdensome regulations on small businesses. We know that Congressman Barr will continue to be a reliable ally for Kentucky’s small businesses, and we are proud to endorse him today for re-election.”

“Small businesses need more legislators like Congressman Andy Barr,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He has proven himself to be a staunch supporter of small businesses in Congress. We are pleased to endorse Congressman Andy Barr for re-election, and we look forward to continuing to work with him in Congress.”

Andy Barr’s endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Kentucky will work hard to re-elect Andy Barr.
