NFIB cites Congressman’s support of pro-small business issues
Washington, D.C. (August 2, 2018)—NFIB, the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, is endorsing Congressman Jim Renacci for the U.S. Senate. NFIB announced the endorsement today at Enviro Control Systems in Dayton, Ohio. NFIB cited Congressman Renacci’s longstanding support of pro-small business issues during his time in the United States House of Representatives in its endorsement.
“Congressman Renacci has been a true champion for small businesses in Ohio and across the country during his time in the U.S. House,” said NFIB’s State Director Roger Geiger. “He understands the challenges facing small businesses, and he has been an integral supporter of deregulation efforts and securing tax reform for small business. We are confident that he will continue to stand up for Ohio small businesses in the United States Senate. On behalf of our members in Ohio, we are proud to endorse Congressman Renacci for election to the U.S. Senate.”
Congressman Renacci qualified for an endorsement by NFIB by achieving a 100 percent rating on key votes scored in the current Congress. The list of scored votes is available here.
“I’m honored to have the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business,” said Congressman Jim Renacci. “As the largest creator of new jobs, small businesses are the backbone of our nation’s economy. As your U.S. Senator, I’ll continue working with NFIB to fight for policies that allow Ohio small businesses to grow and thrive.”
“Congressman Renacci knows the issues that are important to small business,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He has been a strong advocate for Ohio small businesses in the U.S. House, and we are confident that he will continue to stand up for small businesses in the U.S. Senate.”
NFIB is the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization. Congressman Renacci’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities. NFIB members in Ohio will work hard to elect Congressman Renacci to the U.S. Senate.
