Washington, D.C. (September 8, 2016) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small business owners, is endorsing Jim Banks for Indiana’s 3rd Congressional District. Banks’s commitment to issues that small business owners care about makes him an ideal candidate for Congress.
“Jim Banks will be a strong voice for small business in Congress,” said NFIB/Indiana State Director Barbara Quandt Underwood. “He’s built a reputation for defending small business in the Indiana General Assembly that he will bring with him to Washington. He knows that small business owners need to be freed from strangling regulations and punishing tax rates if we want them to grow and create jobs.”
Banks’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee. Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities. NFIB members in Indiana’s 3rd Congressional District will work hard to send Jim Banks to Congress.
