NFIB cites Congressman’s Support of Pro-Small Business Issues
Washington, D.C. (June 28, 2018) – NFIB, the nation’s leading small business group, is endorsing Rep. David Kustoff (TN-08) for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives. NFIB cited Congressman Kustoff’s support of small business in its endorsement.
“Congressman Kustoff has been a dedicated supporter of small businesses in West Tennessee and across the state,” said NFIB’s Tennessee State Director Jim Brown. “He has proven his commitment to issues that small businesses care about throughout his first term in the U.S. House of Representatives, like passing much-needed tax relief and lessening the burden of costly regulations. On behalf of our NFIB members in Tennessee’s 8th Congressional District, we are proud to endorse Congressman Kustoff for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives.”
Congressman Kustoff has demonstrated a solid voting record as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. The list of votes is available here.
“For too long small businesses have been hurt by burdensome regulations and a penalizing tax code. Since my first day in office I’ve worked to pass historic tax cuts and cut red tape that has hamstrung local businesses. NFIB has been a great partner in achieving these goals and I am honored to receive their endorsement. Together we’ll keep fighting for policies that will help West Tennessee businesses,” said Congressman Kustoff.
“Congressman Kustoff understands the negative effects of over-regulation, burdensome red tape, and high taxes on small businesses,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He has worked hard to help lessen these problems for small businesses during his first term, and we look forward to following his continued work during his next. We are proud to endorse Congressman Kustoff for re-election.”
NFIB is the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization. Congressman Kustoff’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities. NFIB members in Tennessee will work hard to keep Congressman Kustoff in the U.S. House.
