National Federation of Independent Business says tax cut will drive economic growth in 2018 and beyond
Washington, D.C. (December 19, 2017) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) issued the following statement today on behalf of President and CEO Juanita Duggan on the House’s passage of Tax Cuts and Jobs Act:
“The House made history this afternoon. This is a once-in-a-generation achievement. We are grateful to Speaker Ryan, Chairman Brady, and the members of the House who voted to provide major tax relief to American small businesses. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act slashes taxes for millions of small businesses so they can reinvest their money, grow, and create jobs.
“Small business accounts for half the nation’s jobs and half its GDP. This legislation recognizes the importance of small business, and we look forward to the President signing it into law.”
